We publish three distinct types of content, and each is clearly labeled so readers always know what they are reading:

Opinion and Editorial

All opinion pieces are clearly labeled as editorial content. These articles represent the perspective of the individual author and are not presented as objective reporting. Readers should understand that opinion content is interpretive and argumentative by nature. We encourage readers to engage critically with our opinion content and form their own conclusions.

Rumor Coverage

Wrestling rumor coverage is a significant part of the fan experience, and we take it seriously. All rumor content is clearly labeled and includes sourcing context and confidence indicators. We use a straightforward system to communicate how much weight a rumor carries based on sourcing strength. Rumors from a single unverified source are noted as such. Multiple-source rumors are identified with higher confidence. We never present unverified rumors as confirmed news.

Sourcing Standards

We prefer multiple independent sources for all news reporting. When a story relies on a single source, this is clearly noted. We evaluate source reliability based on track record and proximity to the information. Anonymous sourcing is permitted when necessary to protect source identity, but the editorial team verifies the credibility of anonymous sources before publication. We do not fabricate sources or attribute information to vague or unverifiable origins.

Editorial Independence

Turnbuckle Dispatch operates independently of all wrestling promotions, talent agencies, and industry stakeholders. Our editorial decisions are made solely by our editorial team based on newsworthiness, reader interest, and journalistic merit. We do not accept payment for coverage. Promotional access, credentials, or relationships do not influence our editorial judgment. Advertising and sponsored content are clearly separated from editorial content and are never presented as independent reporting.

Corrections and Accountability

We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. When a factual error is identified in our published content, we correct it with a timestamped correction note on the article.
